Gallardo Brake Pads	The brake pads (front & rear) are Brembo brakes			The Lamborghini  replacement brake pads are ridiculously overpriced! There are numerous suggestions all over the web for substitutions. It appears the Gallardo front pads are the same as those on the Audi RS6 and the rear Gallardo pads are the same as those on the FRONT of a Dodge Viper. Since most web based brake shops don't list Lamborghini anyway, you may wish to try the above EBC equivalent brake pads. EBC #DP31513C fronts,  EBC #DP31470C rears.	$140.00
Gallardo & Audi A4	The Gallardo and Audi A4 etc. cars share a number of internal components. Here are some side by side photographs of both. Often it is easier to find the part at an Audi dealership -- and it will probably cost less!	Gallardo Audi
Gallardo Clutch	The Gallardo clutch is defiantly a weak point on these cars.			Much has been written about replacements with prices ranging from $4000-7,000 for a replacement. For e-gear you also need to have access to a Lamborghini diagnostic computer to re-calibrate the clutch software.  People are beginning to explore alternatives. One suggestion is to checkout this site.
Diablo Water Thermostat	As in any car, if the water temperature is running high, the first thing to suspect is the thermostat. Unfortunately the Diablo Lamborghini ones run $300-$400.			Ben (see our forum posting Oct 11, 2009), found that for a '98 Diablo thermostat you can use a standard NAPA part #399-198. It worked fine holding the temperature at 85 degrees. Probably true for all Diablo's. Thanks Ben!	$42.00
